Blooming almost year-round here in coastal California, this EASY “Angel’s Trumpet” relative looks like it something found in Eden. To a multi-branching 6-10’ (easily pruned to any size or shape), its large, tropical, felty foliage makes a nice backdrop for the 3”, flaring, tubular lavender-blue flowers held in clusters up to 10 at a time. Hummers! Hardy to 25 degrees F, it’s happiest in areas with cool Summers. Rich, loamy soil. Annual dose of compost. Nice in containers, too.
